THIS YEAR'S THEME

ACCESS: Unlocking Canada’s Tourism Advantage

Access is what determines whether demand becomes prosperity:

  • Can visitors get here easily and move around once they arrive?
  • Can businesses find and retain the people they need?
  • Can operators secure the capital required to grow?
  • Can destinations reach the right markets?

Across plenaries and concurrent sessions, we’ll examine the critical access points that shape our industry’s competitiveness and explore the capital, partnerships, and policy levers that unlock progress.

When access improves, tourism demand becomes prosperity for communities.

Program Enhancements for 2026

The 2026 Tourism Congress in Fredericton will feature several program updates designed to enhance the delegate experience and create more opportunities for connection across the industry.

This year’s program includes:

  • Canadian Tourism Awards presented on Wednesday evening, integrating the celebration more fully into the Congress experience
  • An earlier close to the program on Thursday, providing additional flexibility for travel while maintaining strong final-day engagement
  • Expanded networking opportunities throughout the program, giving delegates more time to connect, collaborate, and strengthen industry relationships

We can’t wait to see you in Fredericton!
