RTO 9 has partnered with Environics Analytics to license industry-leading tourism data tools, bringing powerful, data-driven insights to destinations across South Eastern Ontario.

Through this program, RTO 9 is making high-value visitor data accessible to DMOs, DMPs, tourism organizations, and municipalities to support more informed planning, marketing, and investment decisions.

Please note: The Environics platform is continuously evolving, with new features and enhancements being introduced regularly. As a result, some data and functionality may appear differently from what is reflected in the RTO 9 reports. In addition, U.S. and International data integration is currently in development in the new Environics platform. Once available, we will be able to provide expanded insights and reporting that include these markets.

With access to Environics tools such as VisitorView and MobileScapes, RTO 9 can now provide partners with a clearer understanding of:

  • Who is visiting your destination
  • Where they are coming from
  • How they move throughout your community
  • When and how often they visit

This translates into stronger, evidence-based decision-making at both the local and regional levels.
